Hello everyone! 

We would like to thank everyone for their patience thus far in the project, it's been a good bit since our last update, but today, we are excited to reveal some fun stuff!

There has been alot of work happening behind the scenes as we continue working on the scale figure and the merchandise!

---Wonhan Figure Update

But, today, we are happy to unveil the most current state of the Wonhan Figure!

Featuring a new base design, finalized colors and only missing some very small details.  Which include the final finish. In this case, it would be matte, which will take out any of the glossiness on the pieces from the paint.

---Backerkit

Backerkit will be locking orders on December 20th, 2022 at Noon (Central time). After this, backers will not be able to modify their pledges any longer. So be sure that your pledges are how you want them to be before then! 

At the same time, the Pre-order store will officially close. That way we can finalize counts and begin manufacturing.

Make sure to fill out your backerkit survey as well as without that information, we will not be able to send you your rewards.

---Relicta Figure

By the power of your continued support and the backerkit framework, we have successfully reached the needed goal to begin production on a scale Relicta Figure! As we continue wrapping up development for Project Wonhan goods, we will then begin working on Project Relicta! 

With that in mind, we would like to know backers opinion on when we should do the campaign for Relicta. Would you all prefer sooner rather then later? Middle-late of 2023? Be sure to let us know!

---Schedule

Once we lock all orders and close the pre-order store, we will begin production within the following week or so. Production is expected to take roughly 2 1/2 months. Although we will be keeping an eye on the process to see where we can optimize speed without affecting quality. 

At the same time, we are expected to begin production of the Merchandise boxes.

Backerkit now live! Beta Prototype preview!

Hello everyone! 

We are happy to announce that our Backerkit pre-order store is now live! We have also begun the link sending process as of writing this update for all backers, so be sure to start checking your emails for the your backerkit information!

We have made popular items available for add-on for backers which includes both boxes, the Nisego artbook, AND both dakimakuras! 

Any backer can add any of the items above to their order at any quantity. This is also true for those using the pre-order store. As previously mentioned, limited edition items are not available any longer.

---Beta Prototype 

We have been hard at work narrowing down on problem areas in the beta figure and have improved various areas where we felt the Alpha failed. Check the video below out for the newest greyscale so you can see the details that the figure will feature! 

We also have a preview of the Beta paint 2.0! This version is closer to what we have in mind for the final product, but there will be a few small detail fixes! 

The following are the planned "patch notes": 

-Application of Matte Clear Coat

-Bandages + Belt color modification to include slightly more red.

-Glove tear paint error fix: Paint the necessary holes the color of the skin.

-Tail fix: have the orange cover roughly 15% more of the tail (horizontally)

-Freckles: Fix freckles on leg/lower body, minor tweak overall for freckles. 

After colors are confirmed and finalized, the eyes will be applied. Then shading to the skin, clothes, and hair.

---Conclusion 

We will continue working on making sure we create the best product possible, we hope everyone is just as excited as we are in the progress we are making on this scale figure!

590% Funded! IMPORTANT INFORMATION update.

The funding period for this campaign is officially over and we conclude with a staggering 590% funded! Thats 148,337 USD! Just 1,663shy of the 150,000 goal for the Relicta figure! 

Although, if you are a fan of Relicta, do not despair! There is still hope in the near future (About 2 weeks :3) for you and similar supporters. How? We will explain as part of this big update!

Keep in mind alot of the information here is VERY important so be sure to read through to stay as informed as possible. We know there is alot of new first time backers for this project as well, so we will be providing additional information on everything.

---Payment Processing

With the project concluded, Kickstarter will now process all payments. After this, backers will be classified as "Backers" or "Errored". 

Errored backers have approximately 1 week from now to fix their payment method so their pledge goes through. If they don't, they will be changed to category "Dropped" and their rewards forfeit. So be sure that this gets done! 

Backers who are "Errored" will get a email letting them know. You can also check your Kickstarter account to double-check, in case you are worried you missed the email. 

---Backerkit

An incredibly useful tool in a Kickstarter Veterans arsenal, Backerkit is a 3rd party service which we pay a set amount to be able to use. It will auto-integrate with all Kickstarter information and is where we will be doing most of our work moving forward.

In approximately two weeks, Backers will receive an email from Backerkit. This is VERY important.

This email will take you to your Backerkit pledge page. From there, you will enter your shipping address, answer survey questions, and be able to customize your pledge further with the items we are offering in the backerkit. 

Without filling this out we cannot send Backers their pledges. If you lose this email, don't fret. Simply contact us directly here with your email and name. We can pull up the pledge to send you a direct link to your pledge page or resend the email.

---Backerkit Store(And pre-order store)

By using backerkit, we now have the ability to offer various items that we couldn't on Kickstarter without over cluttering the page. 

Various backers wanted access to both Deluxe Boxes, so now, backers can add whatever box they couldn't get to their pledge! Among other things!

At the same time, Individuals who didn't back the campaign, can pre-order goods using the Pre-order store! 

Backers from the campaign should NOT use the Pre-order store because it will create two entries and not automatically combine with a pre-existing pledge(resulting in paying double postage vs additive/prorated postage). To add/edit your pledge, use the link to your personal backerkit pledge page. 

All funds raised on backerkit will go directly to the Relicta Figure Stretch Goal

---Figure Upgrades 

As a result of the success of this campaign, we are upgrading various aspects of the figure!

The first is the most obvious, the Deluxe Base! 

Originally, we were going to add fire, but after much discussion, we decided to remove that from the deluxe base. This is mainly due to the fact that in-story, Wonhan's fire is used during moments of anger/rage for intense fighting moments. Which doesn't fit very well with her current happy-go-lucky and carefree design.

So to prevent conflicting with lore, we instead buckled down on the nature-aspect of the base!

-Other upgrades include a size upgrade! From her original 7.3 inches, Wonhan will be arriving to Backers at a total height of 8.3-8.5 inches! 

-Material upgrade! A complimentary upgrade, instead of PVC, the figures will now be made using resin. Which is more durable, temperature resistance and heavier, for a nice luxurious heft to the final product. 

-BOX packaging upgrade! Another complimentary upgrade. In order to better product the figure in transit, rather then plastic blister packaging, we will be using custom shaped foam instead. Currently it is white foam, but we want to get black foam used instead. 

Having foam, aside from better protecting the figure from shock, will also help make sure the box keeps its shape.

---Production Schedule

Our current timeline looks likes this: 

November 20: Open Backerkit pre-order store + send out backerkit emails to fill everything out.

December 20: Close pre-orders and Backerkit store. Begin locking orders. Charge cards for outstanding balance/added items/pre-orders. Production Begins. 

February 1: Production concludes

February 15: Ship out pledges

This timeline is very barebones and open to changes depending on various situations, although we will be making regular updates to make sure that all backers stay up-to-date on everything regarding this project!

The Final 48hrs! The Final Push! Alpha Painted Prototype!

Hello everyone! 

We have reached the final 48hr's of this campaign! 

Since the start of this campaign we have made fantastic funding progress. 

In the first 24hr's we shattered our 1st stretch goal and then we soon after reached out second stretch goal! Now in the final moments before this campaign ends, we are but a small stone's toss away from our 3rd and final stretch goal! Which would unlock the development for a Scale Relicta Figure (With cast-off functionality!?) 

To mark this landmark, we are unveiling the ALPHA 1.0 paint pass on the Wonhan figure!

 Our process of Figure development involves several iterations as we experiment with coloration and paint. Since there is no sure-fire way to truly get color right on the first go, but we'd like to think we got fairly close on this first attempt. Regardless, there are more iterations to go before we get to our Gold Master. (Alpha -> Beta -> Sample -> Gold Master)

This prototype is missing the eyes and it's freckles. It also sports several painting errors. This includes the tattered gloves, her tail, and the feather in her gauntlet being painted incorrectly. 

Other issues we see include color tones. The green in her base we feel is too bright, so it will be darkened. The brown on her pants and gauntlets came out too dark, so we will be choosing a color that is roughly 2 tones lighter for the next iteration. The black in her gloves is also too dark so it will be lightened. For her leg wraps and belt, the color we felt was close but is slightly too red. Currently, the color of her top is a point of debate. 

One of the smaller "issues" with this prototype is the finish. Currently, it sports a "Semi-Gloss" finish, but after discussion, we are going to be changing this to a full matte finish with the new color applications. This is because the semi-gloss makes the figure look more like a plastic toy and by extension cheap, then a traditional scale model. Which sport matte finishes normally. (Keep in mind this prototype is made of Resin too, so it shouldn't look like plastic anyways). 

Finally, after discussion, we've decided to upgrade the material of the figure from "PVC" to a sturdier Polyresin. There are many benefits to this shift, which includes the capability to hold finer, smaller details much better then PVC.

As we continue working, there will be many more iterations made so we can reach the best representation of Wonhan possible. Which is something we discuss often with Nisego himself. Not all these iterations will be made public for the sake of not spamming backers with updates, but all major thresholds will be put in an update for backers to enjoy and partake in the process! 

Once a prototype is finalized, manufacturing can then begin. Which would create identical copies of the final prototype known as the Gold Master. Which is why it's important to make sure it looks exactly as how we want the final product to look and pick at any/all mistakes.

Hello everyone,

We are excited and blown away by the amazing support this project has gotten in only 15 minutes! 

That's how long it took to hit our goal and before even an hour has passed we are rapidly approaching our first stretch goal! It's humbling and inspiring to see so many excited for this project and we will be keeping a close eye on everything so we can make sure things keep running smoothly and all questions are answered.
